Family owned photo labs often give the best service, and 35M Pro, seems to have been doing that for the last 30 years.
The fact that they keep new film refrigerated speaks volumes about the quality of this place. They also develop standard C-41 and B&W film for a fair price, and will hold onto developed film for free for 1 month if you need them to.
You get same-day developing before 12pm, making them a great stop-off if you are in the north of the city.

With recently improved turnaround time, the Last Good Film Lab offer very affordable service in Hollywood.
Prices are among the cheapest for C-41 developing in LA, and you can also get E-6 film developed here for a very good price, which can be harder to find in the city.
Time from drop-off to getting your film back is likely to be longer than other labs in the area, but if you want a fair price and aren’t in a rush, then Last Good Film Lab is a great option.

A very busy photo lab not too far from USC, you may only want to visit Gold Photo at quieter times, but they remain a good choice for a 1 hour photo type of place.
Prices are very cheap and turnaround is quick, with service aimed more at the casual photographer than the pro.

One of the few photo labs open all day on Saturday, as well as Monday – Friday in LA, D&J Digital Imaging also offer one of the cheapest develop + scan options in the city, at not much over $10 for 35mm C-41.
You can get a 30-minute turnaround on processing only for both 35mm and 120mm, which is unlikely to be beaten anywhere, and better yet, this is also the lowest priced processing of any I’ve seen in LA.

What Do Their Customers Say?
I don’t trust anyone other than Mira with my film!
Google Reviews
One of the most highly reviewed film labs in LA, Mira’s can handle all standard types of 35mm film, and seem to take real care and attention with their developing.
Unlike other labs, they use a Sony digital camera for scanning, which might not be to your preference, but I think the reviews of Mira’s speak for themselves!

Red Room Photo Lab are at the lower end of prices for film developing in LA, but have a long list of developing and scanning services, as well as being able to offer fine art prints.
A big point in their favor is that they seem to be the only film lab in the area that is open 7 days a week, with next day pickup usually available.
